Role of the Individual

The individual has a responsibility to actively participate in civic matters, to know and understand current issues, and to develop thoughtful opinion on matters that affect the country.

Every American must actively participate in their freedom by holding themselves accountable for their own actions as they practice those freedoms, understanding that with freedom comes responsibility.  This includes avoiding infringing on the personal freedoms of others.

In putting government back in its proper place, Americans are expected to step up and fill some roles that have become defacto government functions - like social services.

Each individual should understand that when it comes to protecting their own freedoms, they have a responsibility to make a stand against any threat to any freedom.
